Please have some fun in getting to know better about the 8 PARTS OF SPEECH that includes VERB/Kata Kerja (ex: read, write, speak, ...) -- NOUN/Kata Benda (human, animal, plant, ...) -- PRONOUN/Kata Ganti (I, You, Me) -- ADJECTIVE/Kata Sifat (good, bad, rich, ...) -- ADVERB/Kata Keterangan (well, slowly, soon, ...) -- PREPOSITION/Kata Depan (above, below, in, ...) -- CONJUNCTION/Kata Penghubung (and, but, then, ...) -- INTERJECTION/Kata Seru (Wow!, Hurra!, Ho!, ...). Special notes related to the FUTURE TENSE:
"WILL/SHALL" vs "Be going to"
Will/shall = akan (bersifat "50:50", maybe yes maybe not)
Be going to = akan (bersifat tentu/terjadwal)
So, bisa paham kan bedanya bila berucap:
"I will go to market today." VS "I am going to market."
"She will go to a meeting tonight." VS "She is attending a meeting tonight."
Dalam British English, kata 'shall' dipakai khusus untuk subyek 'I' dan 'we'. Sedangkan dalam American English tidak pernah menggunakan 'shall', semua subyek menggunakan 'will'.
WILL/SHALL adalah salah satu MODAL VERBS (akan dibahas lebih lanjut).
